Saturday was the first time I've ever been to a roller derby match, I must say I'm on a bit of a high still. It was pretty awesome... even my boyfriend who was reluctant to go had a blast. However I'm disappointed that he doesn't want me to join a team haha.
It was cool, these chicks were tough, confident and didn't give a damn what anyone thought about them. They threw elbows and at a few points in the match wound up sprawled out on the floor with no shame in their tiny shorts and fishnets. I figured this would be a good opportunity for me to take some cool pictures.... let's just say I learned a lot that night. haha. I can't wait to go to another match.
