Room By Room Inspiration: Guest Bath

11:27 AMUnknown

We have two bathrooms in our new place (insert happy dance). Since my boyfriend and I moved into together we've always shared one bathroom between the 3 of us. Talk about crowded. With a little boy's bath toys and my boyfriends extensive collection of hair gel and cologne, and we haven't even started on my hair products etc... it was a disaster. We're planning renovations on BOTH bathrooms eventually but one of them is in immediate need of updating. We're talking, sheet rock only walls in the shower that are beginning to crumble and counter tops and a sink from the 60's. I'm all for vintage charm, but this is just old and outdated. Right now, we are mostly using what is technically the master bathroom and slowly making changes to the guest/Conrad's bathroom. In a perfect world I would have a clawfoot or garden tub and a separate shower. We'll see if that happens.

Here's a bit of my inspiration for the guest/Conrad's bathroom.  I'm really hoping to give it some pretty bright tile on the wall and maybe the floor. I'm also leaning towards a pretty wood pattern for the floor. Both of our bathrooms are fairly small so I don't think it would be too big of a project. What do you think? Have any tips? I'm really scared to to be tackling my first ever home reno project... thank goodness my brother is a plumber in case any disasters arrise! haha

happy weekend everyone!

  1. I love white and glazed tile for bathroom walls. So pretty! My parents redid their bathroom not too long ago and did the white subway tile look and it came out amazing.
