So here it is December 19th and we're about 50% unpacked with not a single Christmas decoration in site except the Christmas tree which we JUST took out of the box haha. I'm not even sure where the decorations may be amidst the boxes haha. Not to mention that I can count the amount of Christmas presents that I've bought on one hand. I need to jump on it.  So in an attempt to find my holiday spirit here are a few of my favorite Christmas/Wintery decorating and DIY ideas that I've come across that quickly and very adorably will add some Christmas spirit to your world.  I'm really in love with #10's ideas for photobooth backdrop and other party decorating idea. I also can't wait to do my nails in a Christmas theme and bake lots of Christmas goodies! Do you have any great DIY ideas? Please share!  Time to go shopping!

im loving this DIY from kittenbear. I love the minimalism of white and this is so simple and cute. maybe when conrad outgrows his dinosaurs he'll let me have a whack at them.

when we moved into our new place, we came across some old shutters that had been tossed aside in the backyard. ive been thinking hard on a way to use them in the place and stumbled on this awesome blog post about different ways to use them!

I particularly am considering this idea!

I ran out of dryer sheets today, and decided "Hey, I don't feel like buying dryer sheets ever again." I remembered an all DIY tutorial I saw ages ago in a magazine or somewhere where you take old fabric scraps or cloths and spray them with wrinkle release or soak them in liquid fabric softener. I grabbed an old baby wipes container and filled it 1/4 the way up with a 50/50 mixture of liquid fabric softener and water and a couple of sprays of wrinkle release. BAM! Worked like a charm! Best thing is you can just continue to reuse. When I get time I'm probably going to hem them or something to make them really cute. I'm happy I finally found another use for baby wipe containers!

Conrad's adorable suspenders I got him yesterday! It makes me smile. =)

and his cute GAP pj's I got for 50 cents :) the little pocket on the butt is what sold me.

And my little treasure: the floral suspenders. I'm in love.

AND NOW I'm going to go cuddle up with some tissues and try to fight this head cold with some netflix movies. =) ta ta guys
