If you follow my blog any you'll know that I've been adventuring into photography a lot more lately for my blog but also in hopes of a future career path. Well I'm excited to say that I had my first paid photo shoot this past weekend! The day where I can "quit my day job" (even though its only down to 2 days) is looking more and more promising. It went very well and the photos turned out better than I could've hoped. This is the first time in a while that I've been proud of myself. Don't get me wrong, I realize that I work hard as a single parent going to school full time and working but when it comes to creative projects I never feel satisfied with the end result no matter how much my client raves about it. I guess it's just a perfectionist or insecurity thing. But I genuinely feel proud of something that I've done. Who knows, this could be my calling. Obviously I'm nowhere near perfect at photography yet and I have a lot to learn, but I feel very pulled towards it in my life now. And I've already booked two more clients for next week. I'm stoked.  Well tata for now. =)
