gypsy beard vintage: adventures in packaging

8:49 AMUnknown

Since opening the shop "quietly"  I had my first sell from someone that I did not know. *happy dance* I haven't been very vocal about the opening because not all of my products (dresses, skirts, blouses) are in the shop yet because of the upcoming photo shoot. So the shop has been open but not really... if that makes sense.

Anyways, the first real sell was my opportunity to get my packaging together along with my business card, and thank you card.  I wanted to stick to a handmade feel and cardboard color with everything. I used kraft paper to wrap the item and tied it off with twine. (is anyone else as obsessed with cardboard as me?!?!)  I included a handmade business card and a hand made thank you card with a few freebies inside. I wanted to make ordering from my shop a special and pretty experience. I wanted the customer to remember my business and maybe even order from me again just to simply see what else might come in the package. =)
